Barry here. I've been a Star Wars fan since...um...I'd say the original release of Return of the Jedi. When I was about 10.

I've been a collector since I was a young fella too...collected coins, cards, beer cans etc BUT NOT Star Wars 'stuff'. I'd admit that the thought never really crossed my mind UNTIL the release of EP3...

...A Star Wars Marathon that day with some mates (2 of which have large collections) and a midnight session of Revenge Of The Sith on it's debut was enough to see me picking up a Burger King Millenium Falcon before the viewing.

Like a disease it struck!!! A life of Star Wars collecting was spawned. From that little plastic, pretty average sculpt of the mighty Falcon came an unquenchable thirst for Star Wars collectibles.

Gosh!! That's a bit dramatic eh? :) Well, that's where it started, followed closely by a TradeMe purchase of 2 Diecast micro machine ships. I decided I'd collect only Vehicles...followed by crew for the vehicles...followed by Troopers, more diecast ships, the cantina scene, a Jedi collection, more diecast ships, 7" Unleashed figures...etc...etc...this is madness!...will it ever end??

I've included some pics of my collection as it stands, but it seems to change weekly at the moment. Some pieces have come and gone that I will probably regret, and hunt down again, but at the moment my collecting fetish has turned to replica prop building...well...one replica in particular. A life size R2-D2 is taking my attention at present. I hope to have our little friend inhabiting my house in the next while.

So....catch ya'll; got work to do.
